Beach Party Information
1) The first hour is now for everyone! We've added "The Amazing Race" for TEENS and ADULTS. You will take your challenges and earn points, all the while having a blast. Come for the Opening, start you race, then join us for Closing. Be sure to sign up on a form available in the Narthex of the church from Monday to Friday , between 8 am and 3 pm.
2) Colors to wear for each evening are as follows:
Tuesday - RED "Be Kind"
Wednesday - BLUE "Be forgiving"
Thursday - GREEN "Be Bold"
Friday - YELLOW "Believe"
3) Parents of 5th/6th Graders - You have the choice of placing your Tween in with the Older Elementry Group that will go to the two stations during the first hour, or they can compete with the Teens and Adults in the Amazing Race. Be sure to indicate that chioce anywhere on the registration form!
4) Bring Bathing Suits! - We will have some Kiddie pools out for the little ones and lots of "water games" for everyone - - so dress to get wet!
5) Bring Money - Back by popular demand, we will have a Souvenir Shop open during our second hour. You can buy candy, toys, jewels, etc. ALL proceeds will go to a charity that we will choose soon. (There is a donation bin in the Narthex for anyone willing to purchase items that we can sell at our shop,)
6) Parents - Be sure to fill out a registration Form for each child 3 years to 6th. grade.. Also, be sure to look for the sign up form for any child needing supervision during our second hour (though we REALLY hope you'll come play with us!)
7) The Nursery - will only be available to those children under three who's parents are VOLUNTEERING! Be sure to sign them up.
8) Friday night will be an OVERNIGHTER! Bring your tents, (or plan on sleeping inside the church), campfire snacks to share (hot dogs and buns, s'mores, etc.), and something for breakfast. We plan on showing a movie outside, so bring lawn chairs, too!
